The Mourning Family Foundation, a non-profit organization founded by Alonzo and Tracy Mourning, provides a multitude of opportunities to enhance the lives of children and families in South Florida through education, enrichment and advocacy. Presently, the Mourning Family Foundation supports over a thousand youths and families through the Overtown Youth Center and Honey Shine programs.

Since 1997, Mourning Family Foundation has raised over $10 million for various programs that aid in the development of children and their families, particularly those in socioeconomically challenged communities.
