Upon arrival, Draft Party guests are greeted at registration and will participate in the VIP reception, including activations, entertainment and beverages. Doors will open to the draft portion of the event, where patrons will have the opportunity to bid on Zo’s TOP TEN picks…attending teams have the option to bid or be assigned a celebrity throughout the night. The draft portion of the event is filled with comedy, live entertainment and socializing to keep our patrons actively engaged all while FUNraising for a good cause. Zo’s Celebrity Golf Classic is a FUNraiser for the Mourning Family Foundation on January 30th-31st, 2020 in sunny South Florida! Hosted by NBA Hall of Famer Alonzo Mourning. Zo’s Celebrity Golf Classic is a two-day event that focuses on fulfilling the philanthropic endeavors of the Mourning Family Foundation. The Classic is comprised of a Celebrity Golf Draft Party to welcome our Celebrities, and provide our golfers the opportunity to select their celebrity draft pick and a golf tournament guaranteed to provide an exciting experience for all participants. We have something for EVERYONE!!!
The Mourning Family Foundation seeks to enhance the lives of children and families in the South Florida community through advocacy, education and enrichment services. The Classic is partially supported by the NFL Foundation. This event will assist the foundation to provide dollars to its programs (Overtown Youth Center and Honey Shine, Inc.) serving over 700 students residing in South Florida and ranging from ages 8 to 25.
MOURNING FAMILY FOUNDATION
The Mourning Family Foundation, is a nonprofit organization founded by Alonzo Mourning and Tracy Wilson Mourning that focuses on youth development through advocacy, education and enrichment. Since 1997, the Mourning Family Foundation has served thousands of children and their families by raising over $25 million to support various youth development programs, including the Overtown Youth Center and Honey Shine programs. By providing educational and extracurricular activities, MFF has helped to change the trajectory for hundreds of young people from South Florida’s disenfranchised communities.
