MIAMI, FL, July 7, 2016 - Alonzo and Tracy Mourning have launched a new educational initiative, the Mourning Family Foundation Educational Scholarship Fund to benefit deserving high school students seeking to continue their education at a four-year college or university of their choice. The couple hosted a reception announcing this endeavor with the help of friend and longtime supporter Amaury Piedra, General Manager of the Shelborne Wyndham Grand South Beach who has known the couple for over 19 years, since the inception of Zo’s Summer Groove, and generously donated the space for the initial kick-off for the Educational Scholarship Fund.
